Blue Cycle works with various local and experienced partners who will provide the plastic waste streams that Blue Cycle processes in the pyrolysis plant. The produced Pyroil will be sold to local and international off takers.
The plastic pyrolyse plant is based on existing and proven technology which provides reliable and experienced suppliers. Blue Cycle works together with a variety of suppliers including Beston and Bollegraaf who both have an extensive background in recycling and waste processing equipment. Together with these suppliers, Blue Cycle has designed and implemented plastic pyrolysis plants, which are truly one-of-its-kind and exist nowhere else in the world.
Blue Cycle’s pyrolyse plants are based on proven technology however for additional validation Ingenia has completed the technical due diligence for the Blue Cycle pilot plant. Ingenia is a Dutch engineering firm that specialises in processing waste streams into energy and products, and emission reduction.
PILOT OF THE
The pilot and expansion of the pyrolyse plant in Heerenveen is developed together with Beston, a supplier of pyrolysis & distillation units with a track record of 26 plants in countries such as the UK, Canada, and India, and Bollegraaf a global player in recycling and waste processing equipment, with expertise in complete state-of-the-art recycling installations. Next to that Blue Cycle works with various local and experienced partners which will provide the waste plastic which Blue Cycle will use in the pyrolyse plant to produce Pyroil which is to be sold to local and international off takers, such as SABIC and COUNT Energy, as feedstock for new plastics.
